Phoenix Suns star guard Devin Booker has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the host Detroit Pistons with a left ankle sprain.
Booker, who was originally questionable to play versus the Pistons, sustained the injury late in the third quarter of Tuesday's 127-121 loss to the Miami Heat. He briefly went to the locker room before returning to the court in the fourth quarter.
Booker was in attendance at the team's shootaround Thursday morning.
Booker, 29, boasts team-best averages in points (25.2) and assists (6.5) in 37 games (all starts) this season.
A four-time All-Star, Booker has career averages of 24.5 points, 5.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds. He is in his 11th season with the Suns.
