The Tennessee Titans on Saturday activated running back Tyjae Spears from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale, Ariz.
Spears, who officially is listed as questionable for the game vs. the Cardinals (2-2), was placed on IR on Aug. 26 with an ankle injury. He sustained the injury on Aug. 9 during Tennessee's 29-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a preseason game.
Tony Pollard has handled 68 of the 88 carries this season for the Titans (0-4). He has rushed for 261 yards and one touchdown.
Spears, 24, rushed for 312 yards and four TDs and added 30 catches for 224 yards and one score in 12 games (one start) last season for Tennessee.
He has rushed for 765 yards and six touchdowns in 29 career games (two starts) since being selected by the Titans in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Tulane. He has caught 82 passes for 609 yards and two scores.
Also on Saturday, the Titans placed safety Mike Brown on injured reserve and announced that wide receiver James Proche and defensive back Kendell Brooks will be game-day elevations on Sunday.
