Panthers set full roster for rookie minicamp

CHARLOTTE Rookie minicamp is set to kickoff on Friday in Charlotte for the Carolina Panthers, with 42 guys set to attend over the weekend.

The roster includes eight draft picks, 19 undrafted free agents, and 14 tryout players. All are set to take part in rookie minicamp.

"Obviously we're really excited about this draft class," said general manager Dan Morgan. "A lot of hard work was put in by the scouts, by the support staff, the coaches. It's just a group effort.

"We felt like everything went really good, we're really pleased with how the draft turned out and just excited to keep building this team towards something special."

Rookie arrived at Bank of America Stadium on Thursday for first introductions, physicals, and meetings. Practice will be held on Friday and Saturday afternoon.

The class is headlined by No. 8 overall pickTetairoa McMillan. The Arizona wide receiver comes into the league after back-to-back seasons of 1,300-pus yards. His 2024 total was third most in the FBS.

"He's somebody that we obviously really liked, thought he could really add a different dimension to our offense and just add another playmaker to the offensive side of the ball," Morgan said of McMillan on draft night. "So, not only a great player, but you know he's a great kid and somebody that Dave and I really value. So, we're excited to have him in the building and excited to get going with him."
